TERRAMARE ITINERARY:
Discover the strong aromas and colours of the Mediterranean. Dream up the
delicate profile of an ancient tower overlooking an intensely blue sea. This
walking tour takes its name from the homonymous trail; it starts off from Marina
di Praia, a fjord-like bay bordering the wild coastline of Furore with the
dreamy background of the Capo di Conca... Looking at the emerald coloured sea,
take up the narrow path miraculously steeling through the rocky surface of the
mountain. Suddenly you will find yourself under the ancient tower, in typical
Mediterranean spot of peace and quiet. Continue back to the beginning of the
"Via Terramare", decorated by ceramic paintings of natural subjects. Within a
few minutes enriched by superb views of the coast, you will reach the entrance
to the "Torre a Mare" (today atelier of a painter), where you can read a brief
history of the same, written by Giovanni Scala. A few more steps upward will
take you to the Amalfi Drive road. A short but intense itinerary.

PANORAMIC ITINERARY: Feel the ancestral need to "loose oneself" within nature's infinite realm. Just off the tunnel going towards Positano, from the main road the "Via degli Ulivi" starts off, a typical Praiano staircase hiking up towards the buildings of Vettica Maggiore. On the left, "Via Croce" leads up a staircase; a high "cactus" marks the start of a another steep staircase on the right, which goes up past many gardens and courts belonging to the houses along the way, and finally reaches the upper road in the "Tuocco" area. The view on the coast, Positano and Capri is magnificent. Following the road you will enjoy the sight of the "Li Galli" islands, the ancient Sirens of Homer, and then finally reach the Church of St. Mary of Costantinople. From this superb location the view now also includes the lower town of Vettica Maggiore. On the other side of the little square you will find a new extraordinary view over Praiano, the high mountains of Agerola, the cliff sides of Furore and the bluff of Capo di Conca. And in the distance, Salerno and the Cilento area way up to the tip of Punta Licosa.

SAN DOMENICO ITINERARY:
This is a spiritual place. Not only because of its religious nature, condensed
into every stone and brick of its architecture, or the beauty of the paintings
which decorate it, but also due to the never-ending and soundless views it
grants. A magnificent work of nature which instils a feeling of profound
interior peace and wellness. To reach the Church of Santa Maria delle Grazie a
Castro and its Dominican Convent, you can follow the "panoramic itinerary"
above; once you reach the "Tuocco" area, do not take the road, but continue up
the staircase of "Via San Domenico" instead. Your spirituality will lead you to
destination. It is advisable to take this trip in the early morning or late
afternoon hours.

GRADO ITINERARY: Ending up on the edge of the water under a tower of ancient history. Amidst high mountains dropping suddenly into a cobalt coloured sea. From the Piazza San Gennaro turn left onto "Via Masa" (the right hand path goes to the Gavitella, the enchanting beach of Vettica Maggiore) and continue until you reach the first public staircase which descends towards the "Torre di Grado" and the sea. A romantic scenery, best seen in the late afternoon or under the moonlight.
